(Understanding the language).
Includes construction lines, lines, polylines, symbols, text and dimensions.
Using the Browser. Extracting information to Excel. Importing images.
Drawing a small simple object.
3) Managing the information, using layers, colours and line styles.
Using points and reference points, grouping information, using Freeze
and Thaw.
4) Drawing a full size example, using plot styles and line weights and
plotting.
Plotting to scale, Customising AutoCAD, setting AutoCAD preferences.
Using AutoCAD help.
Day 2, 3D , 4 sessions.
1) New Commands and concepts.
Using Z and the UCS(User Co-ordinate System).
Understanding the difference between solids and surfaces.
2) Getting started, building a simple 3D model.
Using 3D views and orbit.
Understanding plotting and how to produce easy to read plans.
3) Main Session.
A more ambitious model, using 2 & 3D commands, drawn and plotted.
4) Review, Questions and Answers.
